Witch Costume

Double, double toil and trouble; fire burn and cauldron bubble……Even back in Shakespearean times, witches were a source of mystery and fear. Throw in their association with the scariest night of the year and you have a Halloween costume that is timeless.

The black, pointy witch’s hat is the focal point of the costume, but the traditional black gown has taken on many forms, with a sexy witch costume almost now as popular as that long, flowing gown. No witch costume can be considered complete without the addition of a number of accessories; a broomstick to fly around the neighborhood is a must and a creepy looking black cat or bubbling cauldron would look great at your Halloween party. The ladies may also want to add a long black wig and for full effect, how about some green make-up for the face and a fake, large hooked nose prop. The fun part of the witch costume is that you can mix and match any number of accessories to achieve the look you want.
